Internal Examination:

Removing the side panel, I can get a full view of the internal layout of the case. The tool-less drive bay mounts are nicely placed so you won't lose any of them. Previously, the same style of mounts was put into a bag, and was easily misplaced since they weren't kept with the case. This is a nice change. These mounts are located on both sides of the case, so to put them on the other side you will have to remove the other side panel. If you look closely, you will also see the power supply is not mounted straight in the case. There was some damage during shipment; the box was probably dropped at some point, which caused the power supply to shift and bend the support bracket below the power supply. It's not permanent damage, I removed the power supply and was able to put the support bracket back into place, which allowed the power supply to be mounted correctly (which you will see in the final installation pictures). I will speak more about the power supply later. As with many of the newer cases, all corners were either filed down or rolled so you won't cut yourself while installing your components.

The tool-less drive bay mounts are nice, I found that they were easily installed and removed. To see how strong these are, I installed and removed them approximately 30 times without issue. It seems Sunbeamtech has changed the design of them; previously if they did not fit perfectly into their slots, they would break easily. These are designed so that instead of breaking the clips or the knob, they pop out of the mount. Pushing them back in allows you to continue using it.

The implementation of the tool-less PCI slots is a little different than past implementations. There are individual switches for each PCI slot. There are little plugs that go into the hole that is usually reserved for the screw. This helps to secure the cards in place.

Here you can see the 120mm exhaust fan, and the amount of space left that would be used if you use two (2) 80mm fans. Sunbeamtech has included 120mm crystal fan, with no LEDs.

For the front and side panels, there are many cables. Here you can see the various plugs. From the left there is the Firewire, thermal sensor, headphone/microphone, USB, power/reset/hd led/power led, and power for the front analog meters. The power connectors give you a one pass-through Molex, and a lightweight 4-pin Molex. The Molex connector is marked for two (2) fans only.

Sunbeamtech has included a few accessories with the case. They have included a motherboard port panel, a piezo speaker, a single PCI slot cover, mix bag of screws/supports/paper washers, and the infamous (but necessary) power cable. I was a little disappointed that they only included one PCI slot cover. The case has openings for seven (7) PCI slots. Also, I would have expected to find a little strip of thermal tape so you could connect the thermal sensor to any device, such as a hard drive.
