We were recently introduced to Novostella
when we reviewed their A19 13W RGBCW smart light bulbs
, and were left quite impressed with their brightness and overall performance. When they pointed out their 20W RGBCW smart LED flood light and mentioned the possibility of reviewing a 2-pack of those, we were definitely interested.
These lights will function just like your typical indoor smart RGBCW LED light connected to the Smart Life app, but they are floodlights assembled in a waterproof housing intended for use outdoors. The promotional image above provides a glimpse of what you can get from Amazon for about $70
, while the details below tell you exactly what this product has to offer.

The basic requirements from above are that they connect via 2.4GHz WiFi, and you'll obviously need an appropriate place to plug them in if used outdoors. In addition to being tunable to produce white light from 2700K-6500K, they are also RGB, capable of producing more than 16 million colors. Each light is rated for 20 Watts and produces 2000 Lumens of light, and I am eager to see how that translates into a set of flood lights placed to wash up the front of my house.
