Below we see either end of the power supply...
In the below left image we see the typical sticker with specifications and features, and in the below right image we see a mirror, I mean the power supply...
See, I told you… OOO SHINY!! It’s shiny, it’s black, it has a lot of connections, 2 fans, what else do I need to say? OHH Yeah, you probably want to know how well it’s built and how well it performs. Ok, those are fair questions (but it’s so shiny, and I like shiny objects… oops I got distracted again. Sorry back to the review).

Let's take a look at the inside of this unit...
Looks pretty good in there; a nice big heat sink to help dissipate the heat it generates, and everything is nice a clean. However I did see something in here that I haven’t seen before in a power supply unit. White goop! At fist it looks like it might be there to either insulate the fan from the heatsink or to buffer it so it doesn’t make any noise. But by looking around I see blobs of this goop in several locations.
I’m going to be honest; I really don’t know exactly what this stuff is, and why it’s there. But considering that normal people don’t open up their power supply unit and look to see what is inside, I decided it wasn’t really worth looking deeply into unless I found a problem. So let’s see if I found any problems.
