It seems that each time we do a DDR3 memory review here at Bigbruin.com we say DDR3 is becoming more prevalent and the prices are continuing to drop. With the release of systems that support triple channel DDR3 memory, hopefully dual channel DDR3 kits will plummet even more, maybe close to DDR2 prices.
OCZ Technology has always been on the forefront of the latest innovations in enthusiast memory, which brings us to the review that follows. They now offer a few DDR3 memory kits rated for 2000MHz, and they let us choose which one we would like to review. Since I have an NVIDIA based motherboard and video card, I opted for the OCZ Technology SLI-Ready 2GB DDR3-2000 dual channel memory kit because it would have a similar aesthetic appeal; important for the time I spend looking inside my case rather than at my monitor.

The OCZ Technology SLI-Ready 2GB (2x1GB) DDR3-2000 dual channel memory kit arrived in their typical clear plastic package, shown in the below left image. In addition to the two memory modules, the package includes a pamphlet that provides basic installation instructions in a variety of languages.
