With the ever expanding amount of data in the world today, almost everybody reaches a point where they need more storage. In addition to needing more storage space, we now want to take the data with us. We can make CDs and DVDs to take the data with us, however sometimes we need to take more than what even a few DVDs can hold. A quick and easy solution is an external hard drive, which may present its own limitations (such as size and the need for a bulky power brick).
Recognizing that people want to store and share their data in the smallest form factor, Vantec has developed a hard drive enclosure that will allow you to use a 2.5" SATA hard drive externally or internally.

Vantec packages the EZ Swap EX enclosure in a retail oriented box. Designed with a black and bright orange color scheme, you will not be able to miss the box on the shelf of your local computer hardware store. While the front of the box does not provide a great deal of information, the back of the box provides a sufficient amount of information for the consumer to make an informed purchase. In fact, the information on the box is the same information provided on the Vantec website (as listed above).
