OCZ Technology PC2-6400 System Elite 2GB Dual Channel DDR2
|
OCZ Technology is a leader in the field of computer memory products, and reviews are always coming out featuring their latest and greatest products. While they may be best known for the high performance, enthusiast grade memory, they do offer products for mainstream use. I thought it might be interesting to step away from the bleeding edge of performance and have a look at memory OCZ Technology considers appropriate for "System Builders and Integrators".
Up for review is the OCZ Technology PC2-6400 System Elite 2GB Dual Channel DDR2 memory kit. Although OCZ Technology does offer a "Value" line up of basic DDR2 memory with speeds up to PC2-5400, the kit provided is the most mainstream offering at 800 MHz DDR2 speeds. Once given a thorough examination it may be hard to compare this System Elite kit to generic memory, but it does fall somewhere between there and the more performance oriented products typically associated with OCZ Technology.
