One of Icy Dock's latest products is an external SATA hard drive enclosure with USB 2.0 and eSATA connections. In addition to using the latest SATA hard drives and data connections, this enclosure offers a tool-less installation, anti-vibration strips, and integrated feet.

Packaging:

While most Icy Dock drive enclosures that we have reviewed were packaged in cardboard, this one came in a clear plastic box. This enables the user to see the actual drive, not a picture representing it. There is a cardboard box inside the plastic box which houses the enclosure's accessories, and along the edge of the box there is a little information about the features of the enclosure.
