Cooler Master Real Power Pro 750W Power Supply
July 23, 2007

When building a computer the one component first time builders generally neglect is the power supply. I admit that with my first custom built computer I did not compare any power supplies. I just bought a case that came with a PSU, figuring I got a better deal. If you are building a new computer in 2007 then you are most likely going with a multi-core processor, and perhaps a multi-GPU video setup in the form of SLI (Nvidia cards) or Crossfire (ATI cards). In addition to the extra power needed for these modern components, the new era of high end video cards require their own power connector(s), which is another consideration when choosing a power supply.

Cooler Master is a manufacturer that has a long standing reputation for building quality computer components including; cooling devices, cases, and power supplies. They have recently expanded their line up of power supplies and have provided one of their new models to review.
