Vizo Propeller Card Cooler and Mirrorbox Card Reader
August 07, 2006

Vizo Technology Corp may not be a household name in the world of computer components, but given the exposure they have received in reviews around the web, they are looking to change that. They offer a variety of interesting products backed by the company's simple philosophy... "to make customers enjoy the high quality PC stuff all the time."

Vizo offers a small line-up of devices to enhance your computer; some designed to help cool your system, and others designed to let you take your media with you. Today I will be taking a look at two of Vizo's devices, one from each category. The first is the Propeller dual fan card cooler, and the second is the Mirrorbox 32-in-1 card reader.

The Propeller:

The first product up for review from Vizo is the Propeller, which is described on their website with the following information...

"Propeller is a dual fan card which is focused on increasing expansion card cooling effect and making your system work with excellent performance, especially for the ultimate in performance gaming and overclocking your card. Furthermore, its fantastic design with the cold blue LED light which can give you cool and fabulous feeling and make your computer have a gorgeous look. It is a cool stuff not only to give you a faster and cooler PC system, but also bring you the state of the art for your PC."

The promotional image above provides a good look at the Propeller, and the following lists detail the features and specifications.

Packaging:

The packaging for the Vizo Propeller is very common. It has a plastic front with a cardboard back, and the device itself is held in place by a form fitted piece of plastic. This not only keeps it from moving during shipment, but also gives it a little protection from damage. As you can see in the second picture, the back of the package provides plenty of information on what the Propeller is used for, as well as some basic instructions.
