The Basics:
In the image below you see the "front" side of the unit, which features a modern design and the Luxon logo, as well as a listing of what each of the ports on the back are for. The review sample of the Luxon does not have a mirror finish, but it is very shiny and will show fingerprints easily.
Moving around to the back of the unit, you can see the various connectors. On the left, we have a plug for the USB 2.0 connection and a standard SATA-S connection. I would have preferred an eSATA connection, but since Vizo includes an external SATA port, this will work just fine. Finally we have the power switch and the power connection.
Removing the tray from the outer shell you can see where you will install the hard drive of your choice. If you happen to be handy with computer modding and do not care for the LED color, you could also change that ehile you are in here (although that will void your warranty).
Taking a closer look at the tray connections you can see the IDE connector, and immediately to the left of the IDE connector is a jumper to designate whether you are installing a SATA or IDE drive. The SATA connector is directly above the IDE connector near the back panel. There is also 4-pin power connection all the way to the left of the IDE connection.
Here we can take a quick look at the shell of the Luxon. As you can see there is not much to the external enclosure, the tray simply slides into this piece and is easily secured by four screws.
