Sunbeamtech was founded in 2000, specializing in the manufacturing of cold cathode fluorescent lamps (CCFL). Over time, they began to manufacture other mod gear such as fans, other lights, controllers, pre-modded cases (Transformer, Samurai and Trio), and other accessories. With each new case, Sunbeamtech is constantly including new features to their line-up. Their newest case, the Silent Storm, is no different. Their latest improvement is the inclusion of the Core Fan. This feature implements a 120mm fan between the 5.25 drive bay and your CPU. Will this help cool your components without increasing the noise level? Let's take a look at this new case, and Sunbeamtech's latest innovation.

Packaging :
The Sunbeamtech Silent Storm is packaged in a heavy-duty cardboard box. The box is more than sufficient for shipping, and will not cause any damage to the unit or other included items. As with many case boxes, this is designed for the retail setting. The outside of the box provides you plenty of information on what the case looks like, and its special features.

Inside the Silent Storm box, the case ships between two large foam blocks to hold it steady and to ensure no damage is done. To ensure the case isn't scratched, it is placed within a plastic bag, and all of this is pretty standard packaging used by many case manufacturers.
