Kingston HyperX 2GB DDR3-1800 Dual Channel Memory Kit

Kingston has sponsored several reviews of high speed system memory products at Bigbruin.com, and they just keep getting faster. This time around they have sent over one of their newer memory kits for review, the HyperX 2GB DDR3-1800 dual channel memory kit. While other manufacturers may offer higher frequency kits, 1800MHz is presently the fastest speed in Kingston's HyperX lineup. The speed is still quite high, and this particular kit may provide an additional boost thanks to the 8-8-8-24 timings, which are pretty tight as far as DDR3 is concerned.
The memory kit in question features two 1GB sticks of PC3-14400 (1800MHz) DDR3 memory rated for 8-8-8-24 at 1.9V. Before taking a look at the kit provided for review, let's look at some of the published data taken from the HyperX DDR3 section of the Kingston website...

The below left image displays the Kingston HyperX 2GB DDR3-1800 dual channel memory kit in its compact plastic package. You can see each module through the clear plastic, as well as some basic specifications on the sticker holding the package together. The below right image shows a slip of paper found under one of the modules that is intended to aid in the installation, as well as to provide warranty information in four different languages.
