Packaging and Accessories:
The Synology RT1900ac router's box has a rather simple, but professional look about it. In the below left image we see that it is mostly brown cardboard throughout, with a colored label highlighting some key features; such as the 1900 Mbps dual-band speed, beamforming, and 3G/4G hotspot. In addition, there are some parental, download, and multimedia features pointed out. In the below right image, we have the bottom of the box with another color label showing a small floor plan; displaying features such as printer sharing, and file sharing via the on board USB 3.0 and SD card slot. Also listed underneath the floor plan are some of the key specifications and the package contents.
Opening the box we can see the contents separated so that the carefully wrapped router and three antennas are on the left side and accessories are on the right side, as shown in the below left image. In the below right image, we have a quick installation guide, power adapter, Ethernet cable and stand kit.
In the image below we have the Synology RT1900ac router unwrapped with the three antennas.
One thing you may have noticed is that the exterior is not glossy, only the stamped Synology logo is glossy. I do like this as there are too many devices out that have a black gloss exterior, which attract dust and fingerprints too much for my liking! The exterior of the Synology RT1900ac router has a professional look, which I like very much.
