Packaging and Accessories:
The Corza 2-Drive NAS enclosure is packaged in fairly typical retail packaging... A solid cardboard box with plenty of information provided so that a potential user would know exactly what it is capable of. The front and back of the box are identical, and provide a glimpse of the device, as well as an overview of what it is capable of by using icons.
The sides of the box provide a little more detail on the features of the Corza. All the information provided is presented in multiple languages, which allows Patriot to use one package for many locations. One of the sides gives a good overview of what the Corza is used for. This is presented using a picture, which anybody with basic computer knowledge should be able to follow.
Opening the outer box, I found a smaller box inside. This smaller box contained the various accessories necessary to complete the installation of the Corza. Removing this box, I found the Corza nestled between two foam blocks, which will keep it from getting damaged during shipping. The Corza was also wrapped tightly in a plastic bag to keep moisture out.
Patriot includes the following accessories: a little bag of screws, a CAT 5e network cable, an installation CD, and a standard computer power cable. There is no external power brick needed, and I like the fact that they used a standard computer power cable and not a custom power connection.
