AS SSD Benchmark 1.6.4237.30508:

AS SSD Benchmark 1.6.4237.30508 is a benchmark written specifically for SSD benchmarking, however it'll work on all drives. As with most benchmarks, it rates drives in terms of MB/s where the higher score means better performance.

During the Sequential Read phase of the test, the OCZ Vertex 4 received a score of 478MB/s compared to the Intel 520's 470MB/s.



As expected, for Sequential Write, the OCZ Vertex 4 is the fastest of the bunch coming in at 416MB/s, whereas the Intel 520 received 241MB/s. The previous generation Agility 3 drive, got a 285MB/s.



For the 4K Read test, the Vertex 4 was the fastest by a slim margin.



For the 4K Write test, the Vertex 4 pulled ahead with 71MB/s, beating the Intel 520 by around 20MB/s.
