Testing (continued):

Sisoftware Sandra Professional 2009.SP4:

Sisoft Sandra's memory related benchmarks were run first, and four sets of results were recorded. We have values for Float (in GB/s), Integer (in GB/s), Aggregate Memory Performance (in GB/s), and Latency (in nanoseconds). Lower score for latency are better, while higher scores for the remaining tests are better.

The results of our testing are sort of a mixed bag. As you can see from the graphs below, the HyperX kit running at stock speeds has the lowest memory bandwidth of all three. Even after we overclock it, it still lags behind the OEM kit running at over 500MHz slower and at tighter timings.







In the graph below we look at overall latency. Here the HyperX is quite fast best the other two kits easily, add in an overclock and the latency drops to a quite impressive 83 nanoseconds despite the loose 11-11-11-24 timings.
