Testing (continued):

In the first graph we see the coolers at idle with only Hardware Monitor running. The temperatures fall pretty much where I expected, having tested most of these before. While the Prolimatech unit beats out the Cooler Master unit in the CPU and VREG temperatures, the V8 just beats out the Megahalems for cooling the northbridge. Still, they are pretty darn close as far as performance is concerned.



In the second graph we compare the coolers at full load temperatures. Once again, the Cooler Master V8 is very close to the performance level of the Prolimatech cooler, and it is the best unit for cooling the northbridge chip - both at load and at idle.
