Packaging and Accessories:
The motherboard is packed in a heavy duty cardboard box which has a lot of good information printed on it. The picture below shows the front of the box, where we see the model, supported processors, and some of the advanced features.
However the back of the box goes into much more detail on what the motherboard supports, and its biggest features: Digital Power Design, Ultimate Turbo Processor (TPU), Energy Efficiency, UEFI BIOS, and Auto System Tuning. The Digital VRM controller is a "Programmable Micro-Processor that can accurately match multiple PWM signals without any power transfer loss and thus, lower total power dissipation". Couple all of these features together and you get extreme stability, performance, and efficiency.
The motherboard is placed in an anti-static bag, which is covered by a piece of cardboard to keep the accessories separated. This is a pretty standard method of packing motherboards.
ASUS does a good job of ensuring that all necessary accessories are included with the M5A99X EVO. There are the standard documents that include a User Manual and an install CD. The hardware accessories include four SATA 6Gb/s cables, a SLI bridge, Q-Shield I/O guard, and the ASUS Q-connector for the front panel connectors.
