Packaging:
The packaging for the Toxic Radeon HD4870 is shown below, and it is much like what we saw with the Toxic Radeon HD4850.
The black box is dominated by the image of a molten metal man, while also providing a good deal of information regarding features, specifications, and what is included.
 
The next image shows how things are packed inside the box, and that the card itself is well protected in custom cut foam blocks that isolate it from the balance of the included items. We'll take a closer look at everything found in the box later in the review.
The final image in this section shows the video card in its anti-static bag that includes Sapphire's trademark "STOP" sign reminder to make all the necessary electrical connections before powering up.
