Hiper Osiris ATX Tower Case
|
Packaging:
Hiper sent the Osiris in a rather ornate carton which features several images and a good deal of written information about the product inside.
Inside the box, the Osiris was capped with Styrofoam and wrapped in plastic for protection. At the bottom of the container the hardware pouch was stored. Regardless of your shipping method, the supplied container should be fine to protect the contents in transit.
External Examination:
With all of the packaging removed and with the case on my work desk, my first impression is that the Osiris appears to be very well made. The entire case is made of black anodized aluminum, as stated on the site and container. No plastic is found on any of the external surfaces.
The front panel has a brushed finish with five 5.25” bays available. Two of the bays have optical drive covers that can be used to conceal your drive bays while still allowing them to function.
Removing this panel can be done with a slight pull as it is attached by metal push pins. On the under side you will see buttons for the optical drive bays and that all of the covers can be removed with screws. Also exposed is the front 120mm intake fan grill. There is no fan filter here, but the grill is made in such a way as it may act as one.
