Packaging:
The In Win F430 came well packed in a retail box. Inside the box the case was packed in two big pieces of Styrofoam, and under the Styrofoam there was not one, but two protective cheese cloth type bags. In Win was serious about protecting the paint on the F430.
The F430 also ships with a small owner's manual, a bag of hardware, and drive rails for use with 3.5" and 5.25" drives.
The Basics:
Wow! In Win claims to use the finest automotive paint on the F430, and once you lay eyes on it you will be convinced this is true. The F430 comes in three colors (black, red, and orange), and our F430 came in about the reddest red I have ever seen. The finish is mirror-like as you can see in the picture below, and it is also very durable as I found out from being a klutz. The first thing I did was bang it into a door jam which put a nice dent in the door jam but didn't leave a mark on the F430.
Looking at the front of the F430 it is obvious the styling cues have been taken from the Ferrari F430. The front air intakes and 5.25" drive cover plates are designed to resemble the air intake / front grill. On the left side of the front bezel we find one Firewire port, four USB ports, and external audio ports.
