Xclio A380 Super Tower Case
|
Conclusion:
The Xclio A380 case is an excellent choice for anyone who likes to show off their machine to their buddies while knowing they have a superior case. To my knowledge, this is one of very few cases that has dual 25CM fans, and has to be about the baddest looking of the bunch. On top of that, it keeps your hardware cool and a maintains a fairly low noise level.
One thing this case doesn't have is a hard disk drive LED header for the motherboard. I think it would have been a better idea to have the HDD LED header tie into the front LED system, so when there is hard drive activity, the blue light would change colors or blink to indicate the activity. I would also like to be able to remove the front device door, but that is only my personal preference.
A search of PriceGrabber finds the A380 but it fails to list a price or place to buy it. However, I did find it on Newegg.com for $97 before shipping. This may be priced a little high for most people buying a case without a power supply, but it is very large and almost flawless.
Based on my review of the Xclio A380 Super Tower Case, I give it the "Highly Recommended" and "Gaming Approved" awards for its superior design and excellent cooling capabilities.
Pros:
» Excellent tool-less design
» Dual 25CM fans
» Spacious interior
» Excellent cooling capabilities
Cons:
» No hard disk activity LED header
» Device door not removable
