Tuniq Symmetry ATX Case
|
Testing:
The Symmetry case comes with a large blue indicator that is on the front of the case. This indicator can be used to display many different things such as temperature, fan speed and CPU usage. In order to use this feature you will need to go to the Tuniq website and download the software, as it was not included in the package. Once you download the small .rar file you will need a program called WinRAR to open and decompress. Once this is done and installed it is very simple to set up and use. The first screen you see shows a picture of the gauge and only gives a few options.
Selecting "display Information Setup" will take you to another screen that is also very basic. From here we can select from a list of options for the gauge to display.
Finally, the software can also control the speed of one of your case fans. The image below shows the screen used to control this feature.
A bright blue LED lights up the indicator to show off your selected option.
The images below show the gauge in its bright blue lighting. A few last things to note about the display include that the indicator can also work as an alarm and flashes rapidly depending on the temperature settings. Additionally, the blue light is powered by the USB connection and will remain on even when the machine is not, if you have your motherboard set to +5VSB. This could have been fixed if Tuniq would have powered the light directly from the power supply.
