The Basics:
From the sides, the Swing case looks like a fairly plain black box. The side the motherboard mounts to is shown in the below left image and has no distinguishing features. The side that would sport a window on the other models, has a simple array of perforations to allow cooling air into the chassis. The lower chevron patterned section is simply for ventilation, while the upper circle of holes can be fitted with an 80mm fan, although one was not provided.
 
The below left image shows the rear of the case, highlighted by the 120mm fan mount, and distinctive orange/black appearance of a Thermaltake fan. For those who would prefer an 80mm fan (for whatever reason), the grill has mounting holes to accommodate this. Other features on the rear include large thumbscrews for easy case access, an opening indicating that no power supply is included, and an opening for the ATX backplate, which was incldued. In this day and age, I do not know why cases come with backplates, as the variety of motherboard layouts pretty much eliminates the use of a 'universal' design.
 
The above right image provides an overview of the front of the case, and we will take a closer look in the next few images. The distinctive features of the case's front include a wave like front face constructed of plastic. The face has a very shiny finish, but it allows attracts dust and scratches easily. Even wiping it with a damp paper towel made slight swirl marks in the finish, so use caution and a soft cloth to clean it (and then still expect it to look dusty).
Taking a closer look at the front of the case, we start with the upper section. In the below left image you can see the front connection panel, which is permanently installed in the location shown. You have one Firewire port, two USB ports, and two 1/8" audio jacks for headphones/microphone. The below right image shows a lower area of the case, zooming in on the power and reset button. In these images you can get a good idea of what I was talking about regarding the dusty appearance of the case, despite a decent effort to clean it up.
 
The images below show the entire lower section of the case's face, where you can see an accent stripe in chrome, as well as Thermaltake and Swing logos. For those that recall that there is an option for a front mounted 120mm fan, you may be wondering where it gets air from, as the front of the case is completely solid in this area. All air must be drawn up from the bottom, as there is a small notch below the case for airflow.
