Installation (continued):
Another point of interest is that you can see that the top and both sides come off the case, allowing you full access to all of the internals. What is nice is that it is all held on by one screw. So it's very easy to get in and out of (which I discovered later I needed!).
Here we get to see what it looks like all put together. Very nice!
Now, one last view all put together, and running.
Cool. It has a nice LCD temperature display, but even though I put the sensor in the heatsink like the instructions tell you, it is much more of a case or system temperature sensor than it is a CPU temperature sensor. Oh well, so be it.
You can also see the head phone and microphone plugs that are in the front of the case.
But if you look closely at the running picture you will notice that the MIC is plugged into the headphone jack, and the headphone is plugged into the MIC jack. You will also notice I have a picture of the front MIC/Headphone connector. I will say, that I hate those style of connectors and wish Ultra Products and every other vendor who does them like that would just put them all together in one plug. Between having to decode the motherboard manual, the writing on the individual plugs, and the connectors being reversed on the front of the case, I had one of the biggest headaches. All because of a simple MIC/Headphone jack.
