Required Materials:
» 1 flexible and expandable/retractable aluminum tube (the one that connects from your dryer to the vent system). You will need at least a 4" in diameter because with any thing less than that, then it will impede the flow of air; thus force the air backwards instead of into your system. This is called inefficiency, and I don't think anyone would want that. You can easily get one from the Home Depot.
» 1 aluminum sheet from Home Depot.
» 1 aluminum cap (the one that goes on the end of your rain gutter system) from Home Depot.
» 1 plastic bag; preferably the big durable ones from Macys, Mervyns, Robinson Mays, or whatever store that you could find. I had the luxury of using a liner that came from a broken water bed. If you're going to only use two bays, I've taken the liberty to show you the dimension to cut the bag to fit both the fan and the tube.
» 1 House fan from Bed Bath & Beyond. The brand is called Honeywell. This is the best type for me so far.
» 1 rivet staple gun with needles (unless you can solder).
» Silicon sealant. This is a very important thing in this project because, believe it or not, silicon helps to dampen the vibration which causes loud noises.
» 1 sheet of mesh screen (the one that goes on your screen door to prevent the flies from entering)
