First Looks:
The packaging is vibrant and informative, obviously designed for retail settings. The front gives you only the key highlights, the model number, and that it's dual core ready. The back side gives you much more information on the top features; such as SLI, storage capabilities, NCQ, RAID, and several other features.
I soon realized the box as shown above is a slipcover for the real box. This box is done in a classic black and white design, which shows many more features of the board, and shows the included software as well. Opening this box, you will get your first look at the motherboard. It's sealed in an anti-static bag, and doesn't have much room to move around to get damaged.
Removing the motherboard from the anti-static bag, you can see what makes up the motherboard. The board is built on a royal purple PCB, and everything is done in vibrant colors that accentuate the purple. With windows found on the modern computer case, a nicely designed board can help you have a nice looking case. ON an unrelated note, looking closely at the corners you will see that they are rounded and not squared off.
