Windows 7 Experience:

Windows 7 has a built in benchmarking tool to evaluate system components, and we will focus on the processor and gaming graphics results. Higher values are better for these tests with a highest possible score of 7.9.

First we have the results for the processor - for both the MSI reference board and the ASUS board the ratings are the same (7.5). As the ASUS system is overclocked performance increases to 7.7.



Gaming Graphics were the next benchmark evaluated on our test system. As you can see 3D performance as far as Windows 7 is concerned is already maxed out on this system. With a maximum possible score of 7.9 this Windows benchmark is no longer a good gauge of graphics performance.
