Thermaltake Purepower Power Express 250W SLI PSU
August 21, 2006

Here at Big Bruin we have reviewed many products from Thermaltake; everything from cooling devices, to cases, and even a good number of power supplies. It seems that each time they bring a new product to the market they bring with it a higher level of quality and style.

One of their latest products is very unique, not only in design, but also functionality. Thermaltake calls this new product the Purepower Power Express 250W power supply (model W0099RU). Being a power supply isn't what makes it unique, the fact that it's a power supply dedicated to powering a pair of PCI Express video cards is what makes it unique. That's right, a dedicated SLI certified power supply, which fits in a 5.25" drive bay.

Before taking a look at the unit on hand for review, let's take a look at some of the published data on the Purepower Power Express 250W, as provided by the Thermaltake website.
