Packaging and Accessories:

The ASUS Xonar U3 USB sound card is well packaged. The front of the box shows a stylized waveform with a few highlights of the device's capabilities and the Xonar emblem on the top right.



The back of the box has a small picture of the device superimposed on the same waveform depicted on the front of the box. There is also a summary of the device's specifications similar to what we found on the official product page and a listing of the requirements for the device (more on this later).



Opening the front panel of the box reveals the device under clear plastic and additional information on some of the device's capabilities.



Opening the box reveals the device itself in form fitted plastic underneath which hides the included accessories.



The image below shows the accessories included with the device. There's not much here, but they include just about everything you would use. The short USB extension is a nice touch as the device is just wide enough to block nearby USB ports without it. Also included is the software and driver installation disc, and a Toslink adapter.
