The Basics:
As seen below, the XCM Xbox 360 case comes packaged in a plain brown box. No high resolution photos of the product or key selling points, simply a plain brown box with Diamond Clear printed on the front.
Packed inside the brown box we have all of the necessary items. In the image below we see the case pieces that you would expect; front, back, top and bottom. Extra protection was giving to the large side pieces by a plastic film. Also included was a DVD ejection button replacement as well.
In the next image we see the Xbox 360 clear controller, as well as a few special tools needed to complete our mission successfully.
Our victim today will be the Halo 3 version of the Xbox 360. It is key to point out that this mod is done at your own risk, and keep in mind that any mods done to your Xbox 360 can have a negative impact on your warranty.
As you may have noticed in some of the previous images, the XCM Xbox 360 Diamond clear case comes with everything you will need with the exception of instructions. To my dismay, a quick visit to the
XCM website was no help at all; there is a good deal of product information provided there, but nothing in regards to support. However, Google came to the rescue, as I did find a few sites with very detailed instructions. As this review is a look at the actual product and not a "How To", I am not going to hit you with the step by step instructions, but instead show you what you get for your money.
