Packaging and Accessories:
The review sample Sentinel DX4200 came straight from
Western Digital, so what you get may not look exactly the same as in the pictures below.
The DX4200 shipped in a fairly plain outer box that provided minimal details about what was inside. Perfect, given the value of the contents. As seen in the below right image, the DX4200 was double boxed, and the smaller inner box was held in place with white foam block to further reduce the chance of anything getting damaged in transit.
This inner box features a handle for convenient carrying, as well as large label with plenty of details of the product's specific features and specifications.
Inside the inner box we find the storage server on the left hand side - sealed in plastic and protected by a form fitting foam frame. On the right hand side of the box is another cardboard box which contains all of the accessories.
The next two images show all of the items you receive in addition to the DX4200. There is a two piece power cord, a network cable, a set of keys for locking the front door, an installation guide, and a warranty guide.
