PassMark Performance Test Advanced Disk Test (64-Bit):

PassMark's Performance Test v7.0 offers a handful of benchmarks to test most system components, but by selecting the Advanced tab you can configure some additional tests on specific components... like hard drives. For the second round of tests in this review we will see three different advanced disk tests, each of which provides results in units of MB/s (where higher scores are better).







Details for each test are provided in the subtitles for each graph. We have a mix of sequential and random testing that are conducted in a more real-world scenario where reads and writes are combined. What we see is that the 128GB SSDNow V Series drive might not set any speed records, but it does respectably in all tests.
