The Basics (continued):
On the right side of the cooler are the controls and the USB hub. As you can see, the U Stand has a built-in 3 port hub, a miniUSB input connector for power, a 5V power input should the user require more power, an on/off switch for the fans, and a blue LED power indicator light.
The two fans come as a single unit wired together and finished with a two pin connector that plugs in under the cooler deck. The wires for the fans are neatly sleeved, a nice added touch which also helps to protect the wires from getting pinched under the riser arms during adjustment. Also, notice the unique blade design, which will hopefully lead to near-silent operation.
The back of the fan housings are a one-piece molded plastic that will protect both the user and the fan from damage.
A close-up of the fan (and a deciphering of Cooler Master's product code scheme) reveals that these units are indeed of the 100mm variety that spin at 1200 rpm. A quick Google search (and perusing of Cooler Master's web site) comes up empty for any further info which can only lead to the conclusion that these are semi-exclusive fans which are probably not available in the retail chain.
