Packaging and Accessories:
As usual,
Thermaltake does a great job at packaging this product. The box for the SpinQ VT would look great in a retail setting. The front of the box gives very little information, however using black as the main color calls attention to the cooler and its red glow.
The back and side of the box is where all the detailed information is found. On the back (below left image) is where the specifications and CPU socket compatibility are found. There also a few alternate pictures and some performance testing. High level features (as previously listed) are on the side of the box (below right image). On this side there are also a few installation pictures and more alternate views of the cooler.
Opening the box, the cooler is packaged like a case would be. It is nestled between two form fitted foam blocks. This packaging should ensure that the cooler reaches its final destination undamaged.
Any universal CPU cooler will need to include brackets to attach the cooler to the appropriate motherboard. The SpinQ VT includes these brackets to attach to all supported CPUs. There is no additional back-plate needed, the push-pins (for Intel) and clip (for AMD) are all that are necessary to mount the cooler. Thermaltake also includes a little tube of thermal paste in case you don't have any.
