Testing (continued):

Now lets move forward to the Seasonic Power Angel test results. Please note idle and load results are provided in each of the following graphs. The first graph contains the power factor value for each of the power supplies and the current (A) that each power supply was demanding from the 120VAC line. Although the graph makes it appear the power supplies performed nearly identically I did want to point out that the Thermaltake Toughpower XT 750W consistently had a power factor of 0.98 and therefore has a better overall efficiency than the OCZ Technology EvoStream power supply. As a result the Thermaltake Toughpower XT 750W also required slightly less current to perform when loaded.

The final graph includes more Power Angel results including wattage (W) and apparent wattage (VA). If you look closely you will notice the Thermaltake Toughpower XT 750W required slightly less wattage to run the same tests as the OCZ Technology EvoStream power supply. However the results are so close I’m going to call the difference negligible.
