Packaging and Accessories:

The Synology DiskStation DS411+ NAS was packed up very nicely. The packaging might not be flashy, but that is unnecessary when you have something that works well. There is a label on the side of the box that displays the model and pertinent information.



Taking a look at the actual packing materials inside of the cardboard box we see there is a small cardboard box for accessories, and foam inserts to provide a cushion between the product and outer box.



If you look closely at the image below, it looks like the tape job has been tampered with. Being a review unit, I would bet Synology installed a hard drive for testing.



Included with the DS411+ are a handful of accessories, which are all shown in the two images below. there is an AC power adapter, an AC power cord, a network cable, a CD, some paperwork to get you started, hard drive tray screws, and cable lock (small black plastic piece), .
