Conclusion:
Sentey wants to be considered among the premium do-it-yourself brands, and with the BX1-4284 they are well on their way. Version 2.1 of their black series case certainly didn't disappoint. We were immediately impressed with the fit-and-finish of the overall build and the implementation of the tool-less functionality. The option for water cooling without any user modification is certainly on par with other heavy hitters such as NZXT and Lian Li.
They only downfall with this particular Black Series case is the lack of documentation. Getting the front panel connected and functioning properly took a few minutes of trial and error. Although all of the lights worked, the issue was how to properly link the Molex connectors so the fan controller worked. A visit to Sentey's website yielded only the same user's manual that shipped with the case, only in pdf format.
One other item I will mention may not be a complaint, but it is a wish list item that would make the case even better. The front panel has a few dust filters installed, which are great for keeping the inside of the case clean. The problem is that accessing the filters is not very easy, and redesigning this area of the case would be a welcome improvement.
The Sentey BX1-4284 v2.1 can be found at a few online retailers, but your best bet is probably Newegg.com where it sells for
$49.99 (US), which is a heck of deal for a case with all of the features of units that might cost twice as much.
For it's great design and outstanding value, we give the Sentey Black Box Series BX1-4284 v2.1 the Bigbruin.com "Recommended" and "Good Value" awards.

» Outstanding paint job
» Almost completely tool-less
