Conclusion:
There is a lot to love about the
Sentey GS-6500B Burton "Extreme Division" full tower case. First off, the build quality is fabulous. The fit and finish are of the same quality, if not slightly better than some of the high-end cases we've seen. The chassis is roomy and plenty of the user friendly features are just what we'd expect to see from a "premier" brand. This includes things such as the cable management features, tool-less design, removable drive cage, included tool kit, SATA drive dock and integrated card reader. While the case does weigh in at almost 30 pounds, this should help emphasize the sturdiness of the chassis, as you don't typically turn to a full tower chassis for portability.
If we had to change anything about the Sentey Burton it would be that it lacks a removable motherboard tray. Even though it is roomy and the CPU cutout allows access to the back of the board, it's a feature that would be nice to see here. Also, it would be nice to include removable expansion slot covers - whether they be slotted or not. Most of the higher-end units on the market use slot covers like this and it would add to the overall aesthetics of the chassis, and surely it couldn't add too much to the cost.
One very nice thing is that the GS-6500B Burton doesn't carry a "premier" price. A check of the Internet reveals that this case can be purchased for right around $105 from various online retailers. Currently
Newegg.com has it for $109.99 plus shipping. Considering all the value you get with this case, it's well worth your hard earned dollars.
Once again,
Sentey has provided a product that doesn't disappoint. For all that it has to offer, and for being an outstanding value, we give the Sentey GS-6500B Burton full tower case the Bigbruin.com "Highly Recommended" award.
Pros:
» Great bang-for-the-buck
» Same features as higher priced cases
» Completely tool-less for most users
Cons:
» Motherboard tray is not removable
» Side panels are difficult to remove due to tight tolerances
