Internal Inspection (continued):
The floor of the Burton has cutouts - one for a power supply intake fan and another for an additional 120mm fan or a small water-cooling radiator. In order to install a fan in the bottom of the case, you'll need to remove the plastic base of the unit which is secured via 6 self-tapping screws. Attached to the base is a mesh screen filter that unfortunately is not removable.
The fan wiring on the Sentey Burton is well thought out. All three of the backside fans are connected via standard connectors and labeled accordingly. The wires are then connected to a 4-pin Molex connector for power.
The back of the motherboard plate shows the CPU cutout again, as well as the cable management holes. You may also notice the clips for securing wires; these are a really nice touch and help to add to the overall appeal of the unit.
With the faceplate removed, you can get a better look at the front of the chassis, including the positioning of the front 120mm fan.
Installation:
The following components were installed in the
Sentey GS-6500B Burton full tower case for this review:
» Intel Core i5 2500K 3.3GHz processor
» ASUS P8P76 Rev 3.0 motherboard
» nVidia GeForce GTX 470 video card
» Micro Center G2 Series 64GB SSD
» Western Digital 1TB SATA 3Gbps hard drive
» Cooler Master EPS 12V 750 Watt power supply
» Sony Blu-ray BD-ROM
Even with our ATX motherboard and our full-sized video card, there is still plenty of room in the Sentey Burton. With the space behind the motherboard plate, there is plenty of room for running cables, and the included clips help to secure them. But even with all of the space provided, getting the back panel on again was a slight challenge due to the tight tolerances.
During use, the fans are fairly quiet. While they are not as quiet as other cases we've seen (probably due to the number included), it is by no way the loudest. Because the fan are very easily turned on and off via the top-mounted fan controls, the noise level is quickly manipulated to suit the user's needs or preferences.
