Apricorn USB 2.0 Upgrade Kit:

For many, a replacement hard drive is typically done when the hard drive has been ruined. However, Apricon has a kit that makes upgrading your hard drive a breeze. The provided 2.5" Notebook Drive Upgrade Kit is a USB 2.0 to SATA cable. While Seagate provided the USB 2.0 version, a newer USB 3.0 version is available and is backwards compatible with USB 2.0.



There isn't much to the upgrade kit, which is packed in a compact plastic case. This is more than sufficient as the most fragile piece is the software CD. The front gives you a good view of the cable and the CD, while the back of the packaging provides a good amount of detail for the user to know what they are looking at.



The cable is pretty simple, at one end is the data and power SATA connector, while at the other end is the USB connection.



The packaging is also the user manual, as Apricorn has printed the instructions on the insert.
