The Basics:

The Seagate Momentus XT review sample is packaged as an OEM drive, meaning there is no colorful box with accessories such as mounting hardware or documentation. It is simply sealed in an anti-static bag for shipping.



The top of the Momentus XT drive are pictured below. The top of the drive has your standard label with model information and specifications.



On the bottom of the drive we find an exposed PCB. While it would be nice if this area was covered, there are no components visible that could be damaged easily.



Once again, nothing much to see here other than a standard SATA notebook power connection and data connection. Ensuring it follows the standard configuration means it will be compatible with all devices that also follow the standard.
