Testing (continued):

Metro 2033:

Metro 2033 is an action-oriented video game developed by 4A Games in the Ukraine. It is a combination of survival horror and first-person shooter. The game is actually based on the novel Metro 2033 by Russian author Dmitry Glukhovsky. The story takes place in post-apocalyptic Moscow, mostly inside the metro station where the player's character was raised, but occasionally the player has to go above ground on certain missions and scavenge for items he needs to progress the story. This is a very graphically demanding game. Settings were left at High quality with AA at 4x and AF 16x.

This is a tough game and it shows no mercy, not even to the big powerhouse graphics cards. Our Sapphire Radeon HD 6670 video card didn't fare too well in this test. The playback was very choppy and at times it was almost impossible to play. But, this is not to say that if you turn the settings down so that they are not at such a high end extreme the game won't run just fine. We do have to keep in mind that this is not meant to be a powerhouse gaming card.
