Testing (continued):
ATTO Disk Benchmark v2.41:
ATTO's Disk Benchmark v2.41 was used to compare the top speeds of the SSDs on hand. The test was run in a standard configuration using a transfer size from 0.5 to 8192KB, a total length of 256MB, and a queue depth of 10. Read and write results are provided in terms of MB/s, and higher is better. A small sampling of the many results provided are shown in the charts below.
The first graph takes a look at the 64KB (read) results, providing a glimpse of smaller sample size transfers. This is the type of performance I was hoping to capture with the RevoDrive, as it surges to just over 506MB/s... Very impressive!
Shifting to the write portion of the 64KB phase of the test we see continued dominance by the RevoDrive, and it again comes close to its published write speed by hitting 438MB/s.
The next set of results are for 4096KB (4MB) reads, and at just over 527MB/s the RevoDrive manages to inch ever higher towards its published read speed specification.
