Testing (continued):
CrystalDiskMark 2.2:
Three runs of CrystalDiskMark 2.2 were performed and the averages were calculated. The tests were comprised of sequential read and write tests, as well as 512k block read and write tests. In each of these tests the units of measure are MB/s, and a higher score is better.
In sequential read testing, the Patriot 10 class card performed around 2 MB/s better than the other Class 10 card and about 7 MB/s better than the Sandisk class 2 card.
The sequential write test also showed how fast the LX Pro card performed. It was 12 MB/s faster than the slowest card tested.
Reading 512k blocks showed that the Patriot Memory LX Pro Class 10 card was the fastest of the cards that were tested.
Unfortunately when writing 512k blocks the Patriot LX Pro card was around 2-1/2 MB/s slower than the Sandisk 16GB Class 2 card. It did however beat the other Class 10 card by over 1 MB/s, and barely edged out the Patriot Duplicator Class 6 card.
