Testing (continued):

SiSoft Sandra Engineer Standard:

Sisoftware offers one of the more popular testing suites with their Sandra series. Sandra Engineer Standard 2011.5.17.47 was used to test a variety of system components, and the results are shown in the next four screenshots. The first chart shows the multimedia performance. At stock speed, the Sabertooth motherboard is just about on par with the no-frills P67 motherboard, but overclocking our components increases performance by almost 50%.

Overclocking also increases the Arithmetic Logic Units power efficiency.

Stock or overclocked, the performance of our Sabertooth is lacking compared to the P8P67.

Lastly, the intercore results are as expected with the Sabertooth a bit better than the basic ASUS board, and it gets better as we stress the CPU and memory clocks.
