PCMark Vantage (continued):

In the Windows Media Center portion of the test the other drives gain some ground, but with the Vertex 2 eclipsing 230MB/s it still coasts to an easy victory.



In the portion of the test described as Importing Pictures to Windows Photo Gallery, the Vertex 2 continues its strong run and puts up a score just higher than 220MB/s.



The last stop in PCMark Vantage is with the Windows Defender portion of the test. At just over 206MB/s, the Vertex 2 is close to doubling up the performance of the second best drive.



Results from PCMark Vantage make the Vertex 2 look like the high performance product I was expecting. We'll take a look at a couple other tests to see if the fun continues.
