Packaging and Accessories:
Noctua has packaged the NH-C14 in a white box that features just a little bit of information on each side. The front provides a simple view of the cooler with a short list of its main features. Turning the box to the side reveals more information on the various features.
The cooler is actually packaged inside of two boxes. The image below shows the two boxes, with the top portion of the outer box removed for demonstration purposes. This arrangement should provide more than enough protection so that the cooler arrives at its final destination undamaged.
The next image shows the cooler held in place by cardboard folded up inside the box.
The NH-C14 is a universal cooler, so Noctua includes everything needed to install it on modern Intel and AMD processors. In addition to the standard Intel and AMD mounting hardware, Noctua includes several additional items which can be seen in the image below. In the top left corner are two installation sheets for each CPU type. The second row contains three types of power connects; a Y cable, two low noise power cables, and two ultra-low noise power cables. In addition Noctua knows that both fans might not be needed in every installation, so they have included additional fan screws and a set of anti-vibration fan mounts.
A few other accessories include a case badge with the Noctua logo, a tube of their award winning NT-H1 thermal grease, and a philips head screw driver for installation. Finally, recognizing that the design of the cooler might cause some concern over the weight of the fins and the dual fans, Noctua includes a support bar if you feel it is necessary.
