An Overview (continued):
The below left image shows the front of the boxes for the three 120mm fans, while the below right image shows the boxes for the three 140mm fans. The packaging may seem fairly serious, but you do get a brief summary of each fan's capabilities on the front cover.
What is impressive about the packaging, is that both the front and the rear covers hinge open to reveal a wealth of information, including: the features and specifications, pictures, performance curves, details on what is included, and even a window to have a look at the fan inside. The images below show what you will find under the flaps of one of the 120mm fans.
The next two images show a sample of what you will find under the flaps of one of the 140mm fans.
The next pair of images show the fans and all of their accessories removed from their boxes. The set on the left includes the 120mm fans, while the set on the right includes the 140mm fans. In each case, a clear plastic shell is used to protect the fan and keep it and the accessories neatly arranged. To one side of each fan we see a set of four vibration reducing rubber standoffs used to mount the fans without tools, and in a compartment above each fan we see the balance of accessories including fan adaptors and mounting screws. Noctua really does a great job with their packaging in terms of providing something that is informative, well thought out, and able to protect the contents from damage.
