Packaging and Accessories:
As mentioned on the first page, I had a NH-D15 of my own, prior to the review sample being sent over from Bigbruin.com headquarters. Since I no longer had the box for my, we will take a look at the packaging and accessories from the unit provided by Noctua, and when we get to testing we will go back to the cooler I already had.
The images below show the front and back of the box, which looks much like anything else sold by Noctua these days. The color scheme and layout may be the same for all of their packages, but you get plenty of information specific to the cooler found inside.
Opening the top of the box, we find three boxes of accessories that couldn't fit any more perfectly. Each box is labeled and decorated to make it very clear as to what is inside.
Inside the longer, thinner box we find a variety of universal accessories. There is the syringe of thermal paste, a screw driver, fan mounting screws, rubber fan stand-offs, LNA and ULNA fan speed adapter cables, and a case badge (which I goofed and photographed upside down).
The next box to consider contains the SecuFirm2 mounting hardware for AMD processor based systems.
The final box to consider contains the SecuFirm2 mounting hardware for Intel processor based systems, which is what we will be using with an Intel Core i3 3225.
